The first few weeks post-birth are about reconnecting with your core and learning how breathing assists this.
Learning to activate your pelvic floor muscles and transverse abdominals (TVAs/TAs), together with your breathing, will create a strong core making daily activities easier and pain free. This is programmed-in with specific exercises that mums can use every day to create a strong, functional, pain-free body.
This stage will also address any postural problems to help relieve pain. Exercises at this postnatal stage are about aiding healing, starting to get active and giving you your endorphin kick without tiring you for the rest of the day.
